Moving the Goalposts Kilifi Kenya is an organization in Kilifi District which deals with girls football.  I came to know MTGK when I was in secondary school.  While in school we use to participate in the tournaments they organized frequently each year.  Then I came to know more about MTGK when I completed my O-level education and joined the organization as a volunteer and a player.  For the two years I have been a volunteer to MTGK I have benefited a lot apart from playing football which is the main aim of me joining MTGK. In football, thanks for giving me hope of becoming an international or national player in the years ahead and this is from the good coaching I received from the MTGK coaches.

While in MTGK, I have gained a lot of skills which are very helpful and important.  Some I have gained them from the trainings which MTGK has organized and others through participating in certain activities done in the office and outside office.  Through doing peer education, I have gained confidence in many things and more encouraged by the motto TUNAWEZA (we can do it!).  Also I have gained the skill of teamwork and this, I achieved as a result of doing various work in the office as a group. Again, there is organizational skills which I achieved from MTGK, this was where by we were given a certain thing to organize either in office or outside office.  On my side I have benefited a lot from MTGK mostly on the side of life skills, surely it has give me hope of becoming a special person and have a bright future ahead, so thanks to MTGK.
